24-Hour Play Festival: March 29-30
TAP is organizing a 24-Hour Play Festival! We need a variety of 16 actors and the first to reply here are the ones who will get the opportunity to participate. Your commitment in participating in this event lasts, as you might imagine, for only 24 hours (March 29-30), but you must be very dedicated and willing to make the event work. This doesn’t mean you’ll be asked to stay awake for 24 hours; it simply means that you will arrive at the Purple Masque to meet everyone involved at 7PM on March 29 and then go home and get a good night’s rest until 9AM the next morning, at which point you’ll be a part of an incredible effort to put together an entire one-act play to be performed at 7:30 that night! PLEASE NOTE: Sunday, March 31 is Easter Sunday.
Don’t worry if this seems vague, a more detailed list of your responsibilities and a schedule will be sent to those participating as soon as 16 actors have signed up. For now, just know that you’ll be participating in an amazing event for the K-State Theatre Department and you’ll be expanding your experience as an actor by learning how to function under exquisite pressure. This event is going to be a lot of fun and we can’t wait to get it started! Any further questions can be directed toward Amanda Garvey or Diana Watts.
